Dream Big Saturday

Celebrate human ingenuity and innovation with Dream Big 3D: Engineering Our World, and then build your own engineering masterpieces with Bricks for Kidz, which will be on-site with hands-on displays of LEGO bricks that children can build with, or check out displays from local high school robotics teams. The newly renovated Aquarium Pyramid makes a truly memorable Valentine’s dinner date, or let your cares float away on a romantic two-hour cruise around Offats Bayou on the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat.
Annually celebrated by thousands, this free event provides food, fun and live entertainment for people with special needs as well as their families during Mardi Gras weekend. Explore what Moody Gardens and other area attractions have to offer educators and their students. This is a free event for educators and support staff, with proper identification proving they are employed by a school.
Free to the public, the Annual Easter Egg Hunts are scheduled, for children 9 years old and younger are invited to explore the Oleander Bowl in pursuit of eggs and treats. The Easter Bunny stops by for the fun as kids also play a variety of games for prizes and a petting zoo. In addition to all of the fun and excitement outdoors, Easter Buffet feasts will be available at both the Garden Restaurant and the Moody Gardens Hotel on Easter Sunday.
Treat mom to a delicious Mother's Day meal at either the Garden Restaurant or the Moody Gardens Hotel Ballroom.
Enjoy this summer concert on Friday and Saturday nights from 6 to 10 p.m. featuring local and regional bands ranging from R&B, rock, country and blues. The cost is $15 for admission and each show concludes with a firework display over Offats Bayou overlooking the Moody Gardens pyramids.

Dive into Shark U Week at Moody Gardens! Join us for a plethora of shark themed activities. Guests can witness live feedings, diver presentations at the Caribbean Exhibit, keeper presentations and more in our Aquarium Pyramid.
Due to damage from Hurricane Harvey, the Adaptive Water Sports Festival event has been canceled for 2017.
Individuals with special needs are invited to the Adaptive Water Sports Festival with a U.S. Paralympic Experience at Moody Gardens. Working with TurningPoint Gulf Coast, Texas Adaptive Aquatics, Veterans Adventure and other local organizations, this free event allows participants to experience several water sports, including water skiing, sailing and Paralympic kayaking experience, with the assistance of special equipment and instructors
Galveston residents and workers will be treated to an experience at one of the top tourist destinations on the island when Moody Gardens hosts its annual Galveston Appreciation Day on Oct. 15, 2017. Click here for more details.
Tap into your inner-craftsmen. Join fellow craft beer lovers for the Annual BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival at Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center. For beer enthusiasts from expert to novice, this foam-filled weekend features over 400 craft beers, hard-to-find specialty brews, Taste it First selections and a range of innovative and educational beer events. Spooktacular fun will include free trick-or-treating at various locations throughout the complex, Creepy Crafts, face-painting and a costume contest for guests in the Garden Lobby with prizes for the best costume. Families with at a member in a Halloween costume will receive a special discount and pay just $5 per attraction per person to Moody Gardens attractions. More info here.
Moody Gardens takes the holidays to a whole new level of cool! A skilled team of master ice carvers has charted your course for your journey through the rainforests of the world to see monkeys, beautiful birds, incredible butterflies, colorful orchids and so many wonderful creatures. Your hosts on this journey are the spectacular leaf cutter ants carrying Christmas lights and other decorations to a magical place.
