"There's an App for That" Day Camps - What's it all about?

Nature inspires, science informs. Get ready for adventure as we discover how technology helps protect the amazing world of oceans and rainforests during our exciting “There’s an App for That” Day Camps! Campers will learn about methods, systems, and devices scientists use to understand and protect the animals that call these amazing ocean and rainforest worlds, home.

Campers can collect sticker apps when participating in a variety of activities each day, including making crafts, hands on exploration, playing games, participating in guided tours of the pyramids, and visiting our other attractions. Day camps are tailored for two age groups, 5-6 years and 7-9 years, to best accommodate learning and development. Each age group will get to experience a unique camp.

‘S’ stands for science in our iCamp weeks, and there’s even more to learn and discover. Each day in June, campers will have loads of fun being scientists investigating and discovering how animals live in the wild. In July, your young scientist will explore the importance of wildlife and how to protect our natural resources. August camps show campers how inspiration from nature and science knowledge work together to protect wildlife using technology. Camp activities will reflect the day’s topic making their summer experience fun, educational, and unforgettable.
