Moody Gardens provides many food and beverage options at our restaurants, as well as the indoor and outdoor concession areas. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
There is plenty of handicapped parking spaces located in the Central and West Parking Lots and Parking Garage. Courtesy wheelchairs are available at the Ticket Counters. Guest Services staff will ask that you leave your driver's license as a form of deposit and returned when you return the wheelchair. No. You get the best bargain by buying your tickets on the Moody Gardens website. Plus, you get to skip the line at the ticket counter and go directly to the attractions. Print your tickets at home or we'll scan the barcode from your cell phone.

These attractions close early for the animal's wellfare. We follow a regimen that ensures proper rest for them.

We have two slides. The Ice Slide is located inside of Ice Land and included with that admission ticket. The Arctic Slide is a separate attraction located outside, next to the Ice Rink Tent. Arctic Slide ticket options are located here.
Yes, we provide courtesy parkas that are returned as you exit.
It is 9° inside of Ice Land. Although we provide courtesy parkas, so be sure to wear close-toed shoes. It is highly recommended to bring jackets, gloves and hats for the little ones. They will likely want to go down the Ice Slide slide several times and spend extra time inside this special venue. Hats and gloves can be purchased at Ice Land if you forget to bring your own.
