MOODY GARDENS® SEEKS HAPPY CAMPERS

05/02/2012

Galveson, TX, May 1, 2012—With school coming to an end, parents often look for other exciting educational opportunities for their children. At Moody Gardens, kids get to learn and experience nature with fun tours and crafty adventurous. These educational camps provide a place for children ages three to fourteen and range from half-day camps to full-day escapades.

For more than 15 years, Moody Gardens Education Department has sponsored Pyramid Kids Camp to generate enthusiasm about wildlife and conservation. In each camp, children observe animal behavior at the Rainforest and Aquarium Pyramid. Their adventures include interactive stories, creative crafts and silly games.

“We have great opportunities to keep campers engaged and learning through the summer months,” said Jennifer Lamm, Moody Gardens education curator, who added that education is one of the cornerstones of the Moody Gardens mission. “We are looking forward to another great summer with all of the kids who attend.”
