The Warehouse Runner will ensure that materials and equipment needed by Moody Gardens are readily available and in good condition. POSITION AUTHORITY: The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below. POSITION GUIDELINES: Position guidelines include, but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and details in the performance of job responsibilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Keep fiscal record of facility •Store, check, stock and issue items and accessories •Prepare inventory reports and correspondence •Operate computer systems that provide logistic support information for supplies and accounting functions •Organize postage items •Operate forklift whenever necessary •Handle shipping and receiving •Maintain Log Book entry •Collect drayage •Maintain proper documentation for all equipment pars being issued and returned to the warehouse to be able to track at any time where specific FF&E is located •Report any loss, damage or variance to established pars to the Warehouse Manager •Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly stored and charged •Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all warehouse space and FF&E, making sure that all FF&E is properly stored and covered to protect its quality •Work with the Operations and Maintenance departments to accommodate the storage and transfer of all exhibit FF&E •Work with the warehouse manager to periodically update dead stock inventories and coordinate sending disposable assist to the city for auction •Adhere to all safety guidelines in the performance of you job duties •Any and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: •High School diploma or equivalent preferred •Forklift certification is preferred and required with 30 days of employment •Valid class “C” driver’s license required (if license is out-of-state, a Texas class “C” license must be obtained within 30 days of hire per state law) REQUIRED SKILLS: •Must be reliable and responsible •Good analytical and mathematical skills •Ability to manage time and carry out orders •Interdepartmental skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: •Ability to lift up to 80 pounds •Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time Interest applicants should fax application and/or resume to 409.683.4930 or email to email@example.com.
