Lot Attendants
Holiday in the Gardens
The Lot Attendants ensures guests’ safety by directing traffic and large crowds. 
The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below.
Position guidelines include, but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives.  The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and details in the performance of job responsibilities. 
•Patrol assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activity
•Ensure guest safety through surveying and watching the crowd at all times
•Work to prevent and resolve altercations among guests
•Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger the guests or staff
•Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Supervisor 
•Stops all inappropriate behavior immediately in a professional manner
•Investigate and report fires, evacuations, hazardous situations/other facility related events, and provide back up when needed
•Be responsible for crowd control and assisting Fire Department/EMS or other officials during these processes; maintain control at traffic accidents, assist victims, and investigate causes
•Responsible for accurate reporting and completing Incident Reports and/or other reports as necessary
•Ensure that all employees on company property have proper company issued identification
•Ensure that the guests and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
•Any and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens
•High School diploma preferred
•Prior Crowd Control and/or Guest Services experience preferred
•Must be reliable and responsible
•Ability to exhibit maturity in the workplace and have a cooperative attitude
•Ability to read, write, and communicate in English both verbally and in writing
•Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
•Ability to remain on feet standing or walking for entire shift
•Ability to work outside at all times often in various weather conditions
•Ability to run in an emergency
•Ability to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
