Blossoms's Pizzeria
Hotel Food & Beverage
The attendant will prepare and serve high-quality pizzas and/or ice cream according to customers’ orders while maintaining a clean workstation at all times. 
The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below.
Position guidelines include but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and details in the performance of job responsibilities. 
•Greet outlet customers with a friendly and inviting greeting.
•Responsible for preparation of high-quality pizzas according to company recipes and customer orders.
•Responsible for serving Ice Cream samples and preparing cones per customer orders.
•Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff.
•Prepare pizza toppings such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats by cutting, grating, or slicing. 
•Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times.
•Restock all supplies as needed. Including behind the counter and customer self-serve area items.
•Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed.
•Maintaining clean workstations and wiping down all surfaces in between customers
•Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
•Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly.
•Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed promptly.
•Ring up purchases and properly use the POS system.
•Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
•Any and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens
•High school diploma preferred
•Prior hospitality and cashiering experience preferred
•Must obtain TABC & Food Handlers Certification before beginning work
•Must be reliable and responsible
•Ability to follow standardized recipes.
