Moody Gardens offers a diverse range of venues for groups and kids that take you from the classroom to the boardroom. Whether it is a scouting activity or Learn Live! education class at the Aquarium Pyramid or a tradeshow or virtual meeting at our hotel and convention center, we have the space suited to your needs.
The Floral Ballroom
Overlooks Offatts Bayou, presenting an outstanding waterfront view. Its second floor location isolates it from the general public, allowing you to host a more intimate gathering. With 9,100 square feet of space, divisible into 12 rooms, it is ideal for meetings and events. The refined décor is energetic and refreshing.
The Expo Hall, Moody Gardens Convention Center
Ideal for large events in Galveston. With 60,000 square feet of ballroom exhibit space, it’s ideal for trade shows, competitions, and elegant galas. The Expo Hall can be divided into five rooms, and floor boxes are placed every 10 feet, complete with electric, water, air, telephone, and internet connections. Telescopic seating is also available. The Expo Hall’s capacity of 7,000 makes the space ideal for trade shows and athletic events. Ample free parking is available for your guests, and drive-in ramps and loading docks lie in both the east and west ends of the center. Mesh draping and movable walls cover the telescopic seating and loading docks when not in use.
The Frances Anne Moody Ballroom
Offers 15,180 square feet of space. Lalique Chandeliers hang from its soaring ceilings help set the scene for conferences and luncheons to breathtaking formal affairs. Offering optimal functionaility, it can be divided into eight rooms, or kept intact for an elegant soiree.

Colonel Paddlewheel Boat Cruise
The Colonel Paddlewheel Boat offers two climate-controlled decks, each with space for music and dancing, full-service bar, and dining room. The top Promenade Deck also offers a full-service bar with an open-air experience and views of Offatt's Bayou. AV options are available upon request. Aquarium Pyramid

MG 3D Theater
Offering state-of-the art sound and presentation capabilities, this 400-seat theater is available for private bookings for private screenings featuring our films or your own video for business or pleasure. This space can be used for corporate presentations with wi-fi and other audio visual assistance available to suit your needs.
