MOODY GARDENS PRESENTS A HOLIDAY SEASON FILLED WITH CULINARY DELIGHTS

Galveston, Texas (October 1, 2023) – Whether enjoying Thanksgiving, Christmas, a hearty meal following a walk through the Festival of Lights, or waking up for Breakfast with Santa, families have a range of options at Moody Gardens to savor holiday meals without the hassle of preparation or cleanup this festive season.

Indulge in a Thanksgiving brunch featuring house-smoked salmon, slow-roasted prime rib, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes, among other delectable options in the Frances Anne Moody Ballroom from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm on Thanksgiving Day. The Garden Restaurant will also host a Thanksgiving Day Buffet, providing roasted turkey, glazed ham, and an assortment of holiday desserts and much more.

Throughout the Festival of Lights, the Garden Restaurant will host the Festival of Lights Buffet and will serve a full menu of holiday delights, including southern-style fried flounder, penne pasta with fall vegetables, and a variety of desserts specially curated by the chef. The Festival of Lights buffet will be available nightly including Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

For a festive morning, Breakfast with Santa at Moody Gardens Hotel on Dec. 9th and 10th and from the 16th to the 23rd from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the Frances Anne Moody Ballroom. Families can enjoy breakfast favorites, pose for a photo, and share Christmas wishes with Santa.

This year, the Moody Gardens Hotel introduces "A Christmas Wish: Holiday Spectacular," with dinner shows slated for December 22, 23, 25, 29, and 30. The spectacle boasts acrobats, aerialists, spirited characters, and mesmerizing visuals paired with dynamic performances. Guests will leave with their holiday spirits uplifted and satisfied from a gourmet feast. Foodies should be sure to request the dinner show when making reservations as matinee and some evening performances are available without the meal.  

Christmas Day brings brunch to the Frances Moody Ballroom, offering made-to-order omelets, herb turkey breast, seared grouper, a pasta station, and more. Additionally, the Garden Restaurant offers a Christmas Day Buffet, showcasing creamy lobster bisque, carved New York strip with horseradish au jus, salads, and an assortment of festive desserts.
