ENJOY DELECTABLE DINING OPTIONS AT MOODY GARDENS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Galveston, Texas (October 28, 2021) – Whether it’s Thanksgiving, Christmas, a great meal after a stroll through the Festival of Lights or waking up to have Breakfast with Santa, Moody Gardens is serving up a variety of options for families to enjoy a holiday meal without the stress of cooking or clean-up this holiday season. 

Enjoy Thanksgiving Brunch on Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Frances Moody Ballroom. Feast on house smoked salmon with traditional garnishes, slow roasted prime rib with mini cheese popovers, Hatch Pepper crab cakes with lemon caper sauce and more in this delicious spread of food. The Garden Restaurant at Moody Gardens will also offer a Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. featuring roasted turkey with fall herbs and cornbread stuffing, maple glazed ham with apricot and pineapple chutney, chef’s holiday dessert spread and more.

Guests can delight in the holiday festivities November 20 - January 2 including the Festival of Lights, 3D holiday movies, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4D, Arctic Slide, train rides and more and include dinner. Enjoy a full menu of holiday favorites at the Garden Restaurant Festival of Lights Buffet including cranberry-sage chicken, portobello ravioli with charred corn and mushroom sauce, herbed and roasted red potatoes and more plus a chef’s selection of desserts sure to put anyone in a festive mood. The Festival of Lights Buffet will be open nightly during Holiday in the Gardens, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Wake up early and have Breakfast with Santa. Feast on breakfast favorites like waffles, eggs and bacon, take your family photo, and make sure he has your list before the jolly man sets off to deliver presents all around the world. Breakfast with Santa will be at the Moody Gardens Hotel on December 11 – 12 and 18 - 23 from 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. leading up to Christmas in December.

Witness the inconceivable feats of acrobats, the amazing artistry of aerialists, endearing antics of four-legged performers, the awe-inspiring and incredible strength of hand-to-hand balancers and much more at the Lone Star Circus Cirque Joyeux Holiday Show at the Moody Gardens Hotel. While there are matinee performances with concessions, foodies will appreciate the spectacular Dinner Shows that provide great family entertainment along with a fabulous dinner. Show dates with dinner included will be December 17, 18, 24 and 25. Admission to the show can also be purchased as a hotel package for couples or families and tickets include admission to the Festival of Lights.

Get into the Christmas spirit with brunch inside the Frances Moody Ballroom at the Moody Gardens Hotel on Dec. 25 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Enjoy waffles and omelets made to order, prime rib au jus with 

creamy horseradish, roasted Bay of Fundy organic salmon with shrimp in lemon caper sauce and more in this scrumptious holiday spread. The Garden Restaurant will also be serving a Christmas Day Buffet from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. that includes blackened snapper with lemon butter, a carved New York strip with cracked black pepper mustard sauce and horseradish cream, smoked ham with tamarind-cranberry sauce, candied yams, broccoli hollandaise and delightful holiday dessert spread of pies and cakes.
