HOLIDAYS ARE IN FULL SWING IN TIME FOR MOODY GARDENS KIDSMAS GOLF TOURNAMENT

GALVESTON, Texas – Golfers are invited to get team together and join the Moody Gardens Golf Course for the 2022 Kidsmas Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Galveston Police Department’s Blue Santa Project. The tournament will be held on December 9 and all profits will be used to buy toys for young children and gift cards for the older ones. The children’s gifts will be handed out personally by the Galveston Police Department.

Players participating in the tournament also have the option to bring an unwrapped toy that will also be given to the Blue Santa Project. The general public and individuals who are not playing in the tournament are also encouraged to donate a toy to the Moody Gardens Pro Shop.

“The Kidsmas Tournament has become a tradition for us all at the Moody Gardens Golf Course,” said General Manager Steve Yarotsky. “From the staff, to the players, to the police officers and community, it is an event that is extra special as we come together to bring smiles to the faces of children in our area on Christmas Day.”

The 18 holes tournament will begin at 9 a.m. and there will be food served afterward. The teams will consist of four players and the cost is $400 per team or $100 per person. Contact the Moody Gardens Pro Shop to sign up at 409-683-4653.
