The Holiday Season Kicks Off in 51 Days with Options for Great Hotel Deals

Galveston, Texas (September 30, 2020) – Parents and students will undoubtedly be looking forward to Christmas Vacation soon, as families reflect on the challenges of 2020 and the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season together. The countdown has begun with just 51 days until Holiday in the Gardens kicks off the season with all of the protocols in place to celebrate together, safely and responsibly. Guests can plan now and take advantage of hotel deals that feature holiday attractions complete with festive lights, music, breakfast with Santa and much more. The wonder of the season awaits with rooms featuring spectacular views of the Moody Gardens pyramids and property decked out in two million twinkling lights.

Festival of Lights returns for its 19th year. Guests can enjoy the one-mile trail filled with sound enhanced lighted and animated displays themed to their favorite holiday music.

Other holiday attractions include Rudolph 4D, holiday 3D films, an Arctic Slide and train rides, plus fireside s’mores and great food that ranges from dinner at the Moody Gardens Hotel to your favorite festive fare and confections along the Festival of Lights trail. Holiday Spa Packages are also available for those who could appreciate some pampering, which also makes a great holiday gift.

Guests looking to make their holiday season more memorable can take advantage of great holiday packages at the Moody Gardens Hotel. Different package options provide tickets to visit the attractions as well as gifts for the kids upon check in.

Have breakfast with Santa Saturdays and Sundays in December leading up to Christmas Day. The kids can bring a list and get their photo before the Jolly Man sets off to deliver presents.

“It’s more important than ever to be able to celebrate the joy of the season together with our families. With open spaces and outdoor activities, we are so pleased to be able to offer options to do this in a safe and responsible manner,” said Moody Gardens President and CEO John Zendt, who added that Moody Gardens has implemented a Pyramid Promise with a comprehensive Health and Safety Program to provide an experience that will be clean, safe and fun.
