DAVID CORDUA JOINS GALVESTON ISLAND WINE FESTIVAL LINE UP

Galveston, Texas - July 6, 2023 - Moody Gardens is thrilled to announce the participation of esteemed Chef David Cordúa the highly anticipated return of the Galveston Island Wine Festival. This year's festival is being held for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic and promises to be an exceptional culinary and wine experience, showcasing the talents of Chef Cordúa and a lineup of other esteemed Chef Masterminds alongside fine wines, delectable cuisine, and unforgettable experiences at the Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa, & Convention Center & Attractions.

Chef David Cordúa has long been a prominent figure in the culinary world, known for his innovative approach and dedication to crafting unforgettable dining experiences. His contributions to the culinary landscape have earned him numerous accolades and a devoted following of food enthusiasts. In a recent article by Texas Monthly, Chef Cordúa's latest venture, Lymbar, has been receiving rave reviews, solidifying his reputation as a culinary force to be reckoned with.

The festival, taking place over Labor Day weekend, offers a range of exciting events for wine connoisseurs and food lovers alike. Attendees can also look forward to the Seven on Seven Seafood Extravaganza, an extraordinary event featuring delectable cuisine and exquisite wines from seven notable chefs and seven distinct regions.

One of the festival's most anticipated events, “Penguins & Pinot: Grand Tasting” take place throughout the Aquarium Pyramid.
