GALVESTON, Texas (June 8, 2023) – Embrace the summer vibes at Palm Beach and groove to the beats of the best local live bands and DJs on Galveston's exclusive white-sand beach.

Moody Gardens is thrilled to announce the reopening of its summer hot spot and private beach, where guests can unwind on the soft white sandy shores, take a refreshing dip in the 650-foot lazy river, make a splash in the wave pool, or experience the thrill of our two towering 18-foot slides. Lounge beneath the shade of palm trees or the private cabanas and let the soothing ambiance transport you to a tropical paradise with a drink in hand.

Beyond the breathtaking coastal views, Palm Beach offers an array of attractions for all ages. The Aquarium Adventure play area and interactive water games promise endless excitement. The splash pad features an automated aquatic water feature with interactive dump buckets, spray arches, and fountains, ensuring a day filled with fun in the sun. For those seeking ultimate relaxation and privacy, cabanas and loungers are available for rent.

Palm Beach will be open daily from May 27 to August 20, inviting guests to enjoy the summer season to its fullest. Individual Tickets, Season Passes, and Annual Pass Plus Memberships are available, catering to every preference. Children aged 3 and younger can enter Palm Beach free of charge.

Beats on the Beach

Beginning June 17, Palm Beach will come alive with “Beats on the Beach” from 5p – 9p EVERY Saturday night until August 5.  This family-friendly event features live music that perfect for all ages, allowing guests to dance the night away or simply unwind along the Lazy River, taking in the refreshing Gulf breeze and the mesmerizing water view. Admission for Beats on the Beach is priced at $20, while children aged 3 and younger can enter for free.
