During the Insect Study merit badge workshop, scouts will learn all about insect biology, anatomy, and how important they are to the environment! Participants will look forward to fulfilling badge requirements in addition to a guided Rainforest pyramid tour and animal presentation!
*This workshop runs from 10am-3:30pm.
About Scouting America Public Merit Badge Workshops
Public Merit Badge Workshops are for youth ages 11-17 in Scouting America, seeking to earn a merit badge! At Moody Gardens, scouts don't just earn the badge, they LEARN the badge!
Advanced registration is required. When registered, check-in information and requirements covered will be emailed to participants 1-2 weeks before the workshop date. The program is for scouts only, no adults or younger siblings are permitted in the course.
Private workshops are also available for Scouting America, Cub Scouts, Venturing, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, and Trail Life groups.
