Nestled amidst breathtaking natural surroundings, Moody Gardens offers a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement for guests of all ages for work or play. From tropical rainforests to the oceans of the world, a wide range of attractions, educational activities, kid's events, dining options, and exciting entertainment await. This island resort uniquely accommodates large conferences, weddings and social events as well as being the romantic escape and family destination where special memories are created.

Moody Gardens grew from Hope Therapy, a program that opened in 1986 to help people heal through animals and nature. That mission still shapes everything here. Lend a hand, start a career, or help protect the animals and reefs of the Gulf.

Work alongside keepers, aquarists and horticulturists, or lend a hand at events like Holiday in the Gardens. Programs for adults, teens, special events and corporate groups.

Paid, hands-on internships in animal care, hospitality and operations, aligned with college semesters. Now including our Dive Operations internship.

The cornerstone of Moody Gardens since 1986. Today Hope Therapy offers horticultural therapy and supported employment for people with disabilities.

From coral fragments in our Coral Reef Lab to oyster reef restoration in Galveston Bay, see where our conservation funding and divers go.

From coral rescue in the Gulf to hyperbaric care, our team protects the ocean and the people who dive in it. See how you can learn, volunteer and partner with us.
