Education is at the heart of our mission, and our paid internship program provides hands-on experience with guidance from dedicated mentors. Opportunities range from animal care to guest services and revenue management, offering students a chance to grow in their chosen field. Internships are aligned with college semesters, and availability varies by department.
All applicants must apply online. Please include a cover letter that explains your interest and what you hope to gain from the internship. Resumes and letters of recommendation can also be uploaded, but are not required. You are welcome to apply for more than one internship each semester.
Due to the large quantity of applications received, only applicants who are most qualified will be contacted for an interview.
Please note: These are paid internships. Housing is not provided. We try to offer a discounted rate at a local hotel for those who need housing. All internships are on-site, with no remote work.
If you have questions about the program or need assistance with applying, please contact Human Resources at mmartin@moodygardens.org.

Summer Internship – May 18 to August 2, 2026
Internships can be completed for college credit; however, college credit is not required. Interns are expected to be available to work for the full duration of the internship and to complete a minimum of 300 hours.
All interns placed within the hotel are required to participate in a mandatory departmental rotation program. This rotation provides hands-on experience across multiple hotel departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and guest services.
If there are specific academic requirements from an intern’s college or university, the intern must notify program staff in advance. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requirements when possible.
Internship applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred candidates are currently enrolled in or have recently completed undergraduate studies in a field related to their area of interest.
Additional details regarding intern duties, expectations, and program requirements are available on the application site.
