During the Plant Science merit badge workshop, scouts are immersed into the world of plants and the science behind how they grow! A Rainforest pyramid tour is included along with badge requirement activities.
*This workshop runs from 12-7:30pm.
About Scouting America Public Merit Badge Workshops
Public Merit Badge Workshops are for youth ages 11-17 in Scouting America, seeking to earn a merit badge! At Moody Gardens, scouts don't just earn the badge, they LEARN the badge!
Advanced registration is required. When registered, check-in information and requirements covered will be emailed to participants 1-2 weeks before the workshop date. The program is for scouts only, no adults or younger siblings are permitted in the course.
Private workshops are also available for Scouting America, Cub Scouts, Venturing, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, and Trail Life groups.
