Moody Gardens has announced the creation of the Blakely McCrory Hope Fund, established in memory of 8-year-old Blakely McCrory, who died in the devastating July 4 floods in the Texas Hill Country.

Build confidence and sharpen on-ice abilities through structured hockey instruction designed for ages 16 and under who already know how to skate. Each session features focused drills in puck control, shooting, passing, skating, and both offensive and defensive play. Sticks are provided and pads are recommended. Wednesday classes run one hour, while Sunday Skills Camp sessions offer two full hours of training capped with a friendly scrimmage. Space is limited to 20 participants per class.

Make Christmas Eve stress-free with chef-prepared meals from Moody Gardens Golf Course. Each ready to heat package serves four and includes sliced roasted turkey, traditional cornbread stuffing, sliced brown sugar glazed pit ham with cherry and pineapples, creamy garlic mashed potatoes, turkey pan gravy, and classic green bean casserole, finished with a pecan pie for dessert. Meals are $75 and will be available for pickup on Christmas Eve from 12pm to 4pm.

Celebrate Mardi Gras with an easy, all-in-one hotel experience at Moody Gardens Hotel.
