During the Entomology badge workshop, Pioneers/Patriots will explore just how big an impact some of the tiniest creatures can make! Requirement activities will explore insect classification, identification, careers, and more! Also included will be a Rainforest tour and animal presentation.
About American Heritage Girls Workshops
Public American Heritage Girls Workshops are for youth in the Pioneer/Patriot level, seeking to earn a badge! At Moody Gardens, AHG's don't just earn the badge, they LEARN the badge!
Advanced registration is required. When registered, check-in information and requirements covered will be emailed to participants 1-2 weeks before the workshop date. The program is for Pioneer/Patriots only, no adults or younger siblings are permitted in the course.
Private workshops for full troops are also available for American Heritage Girls, Trail Life, Scouting America, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scout groups. Contact the Education Department at
