GALVESTON, Texas (Oct. 5, 2026) - Moody Gardens will welcome internationally recognized yoga teacher and author Doug Keller for its annual Yoga Retreat Weekend, Oct. 23-25, at the Moody Gardens Convention Center. The three-day retreat will feature four yoga sessions focused on improving mobility, understanding the body and developing practices that promote greater strength and ease.

This year’s retreat, “Yoga is for Vitality and Renewal,” will explore how hatha yoga can support physical and mental vitality at any age. Each session will combine instruction with guided yoga practice, with a focus on helping participants better understand how the body moves and functions.

“Vitality isn’t just for the young, and neither is yoga,” Keller said. “The practices of hatha yoga were designed from the very start to support and enhance our natural vitality.”
