Adaptive Sports Festival Is Canceled Due to Severe Weather

Due to the threat of severe weather this weekend, the 36th Annual Hope Therapy Adaptive Sports Festival scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026 has been canceled. While we're disappointed to cancel, the safety of our participants, volunteers and staff is most important.
There will not be a makeup date, as this weekend marks the end of the Palm Beach season. We're already looking ahead to Art in the Gardens on Friday, October 30, 2026 and the Mardi Gras Ball for Special People on Saturday, February 13, 2027. More details to come.
Hope Therapy Adaptive Sports Festival
Each fall, the Hope Therapy Adaptive Sports Festival turns Palm Beach into a day of barrier-free recreation for individuals with intellectual, cognitive and physical disabilities and their families. Trained Moody Gardens staff and volunteers provide specialized equipment and hands-on assistance so every participant can get out on the water.

The festival is for individuals with special needs and their families. Special needs group facilities are not permitted.
